Nyivalbeyiil means concord (or straight translation: friend/friends). This work is an ancient pictographic writing of the Yukaghir People. Each figure of a tree is a symbol of a human - male and female. Two parallel lines connecting the central two figures represent the strong friendship of the Yukaghirs. The circle is a symbol of unification, around which there are various figures of trees that are representatives of other peoples.
In Selkup culture, the world is separated into three worlds. The Selkups live in the middle world - taiga people. They are engaged in fishing, hunting, gathering. They live in houses, observe the continuity of generations and inhabit nature with the spirits. Heavenly deities live in the upper world. Only birds can rich them. The Selkups deify the heavenly bodies: the Sun personifies life on earth and goes hand in hand with the Moon. And people see day and night.
In my work, I am talking about the World Tree that grows with seven roots. It is so tall and it reaches the sky with its branches. Shamans are able to find this tree to ascend to the sky. One side of the tree is looking towards the night, the other - towards the day, and there are seven branches on each side. A cuckoo bird sits on top of each branch. Another cuckoo sits on top of the tree. Each root has a snake. These snakes guard the entrance from the middle world to the lower one. The entrance is in the forest. This is a hole to which a dirty path leads.
A circle of beads is an Умут ornament. Each circle has its own meaning. The blue flower in the center of the circle represents life; orange circle - means a spider, a symbol of strength and endurance; black - a thorny path; black and white - the eternal struggle between good and evil; orange circle - sun, victory; red and blue - infinitely new life, sunrise; white fur - rays of good, under the fur - rays of the sun. Ptarmigan claws in the corners , embroidered with a floss thread, denote the sacred bird of the Donre clan.
